rob lowe aka supermundane

We are really lucky to have Rob Lowe of Supermandane coming to speak to us this week. He has some great graphic and typographic work, so I am really looking forward to meeting him.

We have to do a 3 hour project, some sort of self promotion using our names and illustration.

It has to be an A5 postcard and we need to think about the composition on the paper and whether the lettering is the illustration, forms part of the illustration or is separate. Rob said that he thinks the key is to think of the letterforms in the same way as we would anything else we draw and not be intimidated because its lettering. 

So I had a quick play with some hand drawn lettering and some print textures I have had lying around. Thankfully I still have some time left to develop it.
